Author: Joshua This unit is not for the "bolt-on" hobbyist out there. Quite a bit of DIY required. No instructions included. Other than the control rod, the material quality is decent.
The bottom plate of your crawler will need to be rotated along with your transmission etc. A new deck plate is included for mounting the new servo. All hardware is included as well, however, You will have to modify your rear drive shaft. It will need to be roughly 20mm shorter to work with this dig.
After installing the HR dig and trimming down the stock Axial drive shaft, I began working with my radio system to get the servo "dialed" in. I did not realize that the drive shaft was not extending and the new geometry was a bit much. In the process I burned out a rather nice high torque servo. *sigh*
So instead of dropping more cash on new drive shafts, I am going with Ver. 2 of the 3 Racing dig. I have not received it yet, but it includes and drive shaft and has an integrated servo mount.
So overall, I would not recommend.
